Under the motto "Adelbert von Chamisso - correspondences and transformations" is from 9 to 11 June 2011 international conference in Paris scheduled. It is organized by Marie-Theres Federhofer, professor at the University of Tromso, and Jutta Weber, deputy director of the Manuscripts Department of the State Library in Berlin, the Chamisso estate held. Needed are contributions representing "the Chamisso research connections and contacts to investigate his involvement in scientific networks ... also the broad field of literary, intertextual and intercultural relationships in literary texts Chamissos." Keynote-speaker der Konferenz wird der Historiker Harry Liebersohn sein, Professor an der University of Illinois, der in seinem Buch The Travelers’ World. Europe to the Pacific (Havard University Press 2006) auch über Chamissos Weltreise geschrieben hat.
