Das Krimihotel in Hillesheim hat noch nicht lange geöffnet, da geht es dort schon kriminell zur Sache. Bei der Eröffnung war schon eine Menge Krimi-Prominenz anwesend, und es geht natürlich programmatisch weiter.

Chamissos Schatten

Jeder, der vor vier Jahren die Ausstellung "Mit den Augen des Fremden. Adelbert von Chamisso – Dichter, Naturwissenschaftler, Weltreisender" im Berliner Kreuzberg-Museum gesehen hat, erinnert sich noch gut an den phantastischen Nachbau von Chamissos Schiffskoje auf der RURIK, in der der Weltreisende drei Jahre schlief, träumte und dichtete. Koje und Ausstellung sind mittlerweile abgebaut worden; der Katalog zur Ausstellung, die von Ulrike Treziak und Ellen Röhner gestaltet worden war, ist aber noch lieferbar und als reich bebildertes Lesebuch eine der besten Einführungen in Chamissos Welt. Zwischen alten Buchdruckpressen und Setzkästen muss wohl Chamissos Schatten im Haus an der Adelbertstraße hängen geblieben sein. In der historischen Druckwerkstatt des Museums hat Peter Renn, der 2006 am Rurik-Modell mitgebaut hatte, mit zehn-bis zwölfjährigen Kindern aus dem Kiez einen Linolschnittzyklus mit 80 Blättern zu "Peter Schlemihls wundersamer Geschichte" geschaffen, die man dort betrachten kann, alles absolut kostbare Einzelstücke.

Hier rollt der graue Mann gerade Schlemihls Schatten vom Rasen auf. Und so hier sieht Peter Schlemihl als weltreisender Botaniker mit Pantoffeln, Botanisierkapsel und Siebenmeilenstiefeln aus.

Ich kann ihm also nicht sofort helfen und kläre ihn darüber auf. Wie zu erwarten, trägt dies nicht zu seiner Glückseligkeit bei, also choleriert er noch ein bisschen in den Hörer, was mich endgültig wach werden lässt und legt schließlich grußlos auf.

Ich eröffne ein Ticket mit hoher Priorität an die Notes-Administration. Eine Stunde später kommt das Ticket zurück - mit dem Vermerk "erledigt" und einem nicht ganz wertfreien Kommentar des dortigen Kollegen über "Lernresistenz" und etwaige "Intelligenz-Mängel" des Users. Ich greife zum Headset und informiere Herrn P., dass die Gültigkeit seiner Notes-ID jetzt um 5 weitere Jahre verlängert wurde. Komplett verwandelt bedankt er sich überschwänglich, was mich zu einer höflichen Demand on the way:
